This year's Fall Classic is scheduled for October 16-19, 2025. Click here to view the brochure and the event schedule.
This is our 26th annual Father-Son outing, and we hope that men of all ages will use this as a time for fellowship and building relationships. This is not limited to fathers and sons, but to any mentor-mentee relationship. Even if you have no children or only girls at home, this is an excellent opportunity to reach out to a fatherless boy, a neighbor, friend, or relative and share God’s intention and design for men.
The weekend is filled with activities, competitions, games, worship, food, fun, and fellowship all designed to bring men and boys together to affirm young men in their manhood. We have chosen this time of year because autumns in the Blue Ridge Mountains are spectacular. God’s creation is truly on display. It’s a terrific environment for men to serve and fellowship together.
Camp ACCOVAC
We are excited to announce that we are returning to Camp ACCOVAC. It features many amenities, including a chapel, basketball & volleyball courts, an archery range, a pond, a picnic shelter, fire pits, an outdoor amphitheater, nearby hiking trails & trout streams. The facility is also near the George Washington National Forest, plus we have access to adjacent property for hunting. Our Fishing Tournament locations include Mill Creek, Cowpasture River, Maury River, and Douthat State Park, which features a 50+ acre lake, an outstanding youth fishing area, and trout streams.
Friday night kicks off the main event with the opening ceremony, paper football tournament, and the Classic Cook-off, featuring the “Souper” Bowl Competition. Participants are encouraged to bring their favorite recipes (bring enough to share). Saturday’s events include the Fishing Tournament, Corn Hole Tournament, and the Rite of Passage Ceremony, which celebrates the point in a young man’s life when he passes into manhood. If you have a High School senior or recent graduate and would like to participate, please notify us in advance. Sunday’s events include the Golf Tournament; the option of caving, river floating, or hiking, depending on local conditions; and the Closing Ceremonies.
Sign up today to reserve a spot for your team! Teams include families and/or mentoring relationships. If you don’t have a team, we’ll welcome you as part of another team.
